Summer Pruning

Summer pruning is a key process in the restoration of old and neglected trees. It is also a reliable way to get more fruit and flowers out of any tree. Come prune with seasoned orchardist and pruning instructor Jane Campbell at the CTK Food Share orchard. This orchard space is ideal for all learning to prune. It offers a variety of types and sizes of tree and can handle a whoop-see-dasie or two. All the fruit that results from your learning journey is donated to food banks and food pantries around Whatcom County. Let’s prune together and improve food security in Whatcom County!

Sliding scale workshop fee: $10-$55/person depending on participants financial reality.
