Jane Campbell Doula Services
Jane Campbell (she/her) is a credentialed Washington State Birth Doula and is currently pursuing DONA International Birth Doula Certification. She serves as a birth doula, providing prenatal, birth and postpartum support to clients in Bellingham and Whatcom County. She is keen to provide support in hospital, community birth centers as well as clients’ homes. She loves attuning to clients and other members of their birth teams.
Experience
In January 2026, Jane completed the Simkin Center’s Allied Birth Vocations’ Birth Doula training. Since then she has jumped into taking on clients and pursing ongoing mentorship from local veteran doulas. Her role as a doula is informed by her decades of experience informally supporting friends and family members before, during and post birth. Of course, her work as a birth doula is also informed by her own experiences birthing. She has personally birthed at home, in hospital and at a Bellingham community birth center. She herself was born at home back in the 80’s.
Philosophy
Jane works form a belief that all persons deserve respect and attuned care during their most vulnerable and powerful moments. She believes that birth will always surprise, but can empower and enrich lives regardless of outcomes.
The scope of a birth doula’s work is to provide emotional and physical support before during and after labor and birth; and, to provide informational referrals during prenatal and postpartum visits.
