Join us for this two-day workshop learning the art of basket making. We will be working with specialty willow grown by Maria at her home on Orcas Island, Washington.

Class will run from 9am-5pm, Saturday to Sunday.

Price: $300.00

Cost includes instruction and materials for your basket, plus complimentary tea and coffee for the weekend.

Out of towners: Queen Mountain has camping amenities available for you. We charge an additional $10.00 per night for students.

Note: if you are someone who suffers from arthritis, know that willow is a strenuous material for the untrained hand. Maria will be returning to Queen Mountain in September, 2026 to teach a bullrush hat making class. Bullrush may be a more suitable material for you to learn on.
